Would your worst nightmare be being locked up in a room with dozens of people and socialising is the only way to escape?

God No! I'd rather be chemically castrated than support the blue side of Manchester. You can probably tell what team I support

It depends on the person really, if it's someone in the same situation as me, then I'll easily open up to them, but if it's some loud mouthed guy then it'll take a long time.

it's not "dependence", you just "learn to live with it" nah, just kidding. what he needs to do is to transition between "drunk him" and "sober him" over time, remaining how he is when he's drunk, and learning to act like that as a norm

but alcohol does stuff to the brain - real, chemistry-related stuff - so how can you 'learn' it?

Yeah I totally agree with ya. Once your intoxicated by alcohol, you ain't in control of your actions, so once you get back to normal, you're the same old socially awkward guy

Yeah. Alcohol's main selling point is its ability to make you believe that all the stupid stuff you're doing is actually funny, witty etc. It's not a rational mindset!

I hope you find a way of coping with it.

If someone (in real life) told you that you WEREN'T as "socially awkward" as you claim to be, would you take that as a compliment or would you be offended?
