It hasn't been a very good year for me but there are some highlights:
  • Passing my driving test
  • Getting my black belt recognised in Japan

I was able to accomplish a number of my goals for the year which I'm pleased about. It's about time to come up with next year's self-improvement programme. I want to attack 2015 full force.

Surviving 9 days in the Brunei jungle on 1 and a half days combat ration and successfully completing my jungle confidence course.

Commissioning as an officer.

Apart from that not much else was achieved

-Summer school
-The challenge mainly because of the wonderful people I met. Never had friends like them before so I'm really grateful. I've never grown close to a group of people so quickly and I think we'll be friends for a very long time. I also got to meet people through them which was cool
-My 100% in one of my exams, first 100% ever
-5/5 uni offers
-Gaga concert, hands down the best concert ever :ahee:

I know most of my highlights are education-related but that's mainly what's been happening this year and I'm pleased haha.

Highlights for the year :-

Jan :- Marriage breakdown.
Feb :- Divorce and lost the old house, several close friends and a some money. Bought an electric car.
April :- Received some inheritance money from my late granddad.
May :- Took over a struggling scrapyard.
July :- Rationalized and streamlined my businesses, started a new factory and office. Quit working for others to concentrate on my businesses.
October :- My factory and 2 of our products won awards which we didn't think we'd even be a finalist for.
November :- My scrapyard got recognized as one of the cleanest there is in Europe, only losing to 1 in Germany and 3 in Switzerland. Relationship with someone new and she is excellent
December :- Will close 2014 as the year that I'm poorer at the end of the year than at the beginning.
