Hi guys! I firmed my choice a few days ago! Now I'd like to pick accommodation and I am really lost! Do the game art design students reside in a particular place or are you all spread around? Which would you say would be best?

    Gratz!

Game Art is spread out across many halls :P

I've been staying in Newarke Point which is an en-suite accommodation. I share a kitchen with 4 others. Some of the other halls have more people in one flat or 2 bathrooms between 9 people or something. I've heard Victoria Halls is good.

I personally would avoid CODE, they have hidden prices, and they forced me into a contract for next year. I had to come up with a large amount of money fast, so I'd be careful of who you choose to stay with :P student houses can do similar things as well I've heard.

People generally find others to share a student house with in the 2nd or 3rd year, so I'd go for a student halls for the 1st year

You can find details of the various halls here:

Hey Josh! We've actually got a discussion on accommodation on the facebook group ^^ a few current 1st and 2nd years have given their insight on the halls to avoid and the ones that are good deals.

Personally I haven't heard anything about Grosvenor house, but my friends in Victoria halls seem to have enjoyed it there
