I refer you to my last post; what I said applies even more to this nonsense.
Typical evolution defence "oh you don't understand it" that's a joke. And you know it.

We might exist in this world but what if the physical body dies and the inner 'spirit' lives on for the next generation. I mean, how can people reflect on the lives of people that they never even knew if they were not getting flashbacks from a 'past life' in the process...

The thing is,even if you live is **** or good, does it matter when you are dead?,
Being alive and conscious right at this time in history is quite lucky. We will never be concious again (maybe as a part of something else as in our atoms being a part of something else that lives) so we should focus our energy into making this life the best, instead of worrying about death. Ive made myself at peace with the idea of death and it doesnt bother me anymore.

But to answer your question, nothing will matter (to you) after you die

That isnt valid evidence to support the idea of a soul. What about other creatures do they have souls too? Do they also have an "elephant heaven" "ant hell" ?? The only way we live on is through our dna, by passing it on to our offspring.

No. You can dress it up as much as you like but a rudimentary understanding of evolution is all that is needed to understand that it's pure lies and convenient propaganda. When you take away all the fancy words and the fancy diagrams you're left with a monkey >> Human.
You can believe whatever you want it doesn't make you right. Have you got a single shred of evidence for what you are saying?

If you actually look at an evolutionary tree the group that are "monkeys" are reasonably far away from us. I am pretty sure you are referring to chimpanzees, a very different group to the monkeys. They are our sister group which means we have a common ancestor...NOT that we are them or evolved from them.

How is a "rudimentary understanding of evolution is all that is needed to understand that it's pure lies and convenient propaganda"

Define 'exist'. After a person dies do they cease to exist? No they don't.

The only thing that stops when something dies are their nerve impulses, and they don't disappear, they are just converted into another form of energy. And not all of them stop at the same time. Your heart might even carry on beating a few milliseconds after your brain stops working assuming it wasn't a heart attack that killed you.

When the body starts to rot, it still exists because it's still matter. That matter will become another animal, or a fungus, or a plant. The carbon and hydrogen can wind up back in the atmosphere. And that carbon and hydrogen was floated around in space for billions of years. And it will continue to float around in space even after the earth is consumed by the sun.

You being 'alive' in the sense that you're different to everything else in the universe is just an illusion. Just because you have a brain and can think, it doesn't make you suddenly not obey the laws of physics that everything else, including the rocks, obey. Therefore nothing really 'dies' and nothing really 'lives'. We are just a bunch of chemical reactions that happen to take place right now as this bunch of matter is typing.

In that sense your chemical reactions might even end up in another animal and become part of their 'entity'.

    Feel better now?
