Im taking biology, history and sociology and theyr all okay but a lot more work than from GCSE.
A lot of my frends are taking english lit and they are struggling because apparently u hav to read 4 books and memorise like 16 poems (about 5 lines each), and then theres a lot of coursework and the exam questions are like the cousework questions except u hav less time to do them.
But dont let that put u off, if thats the type of thing u enjoy then go right ahead and take it, it depends on u and wat u prefer.

At the moment I'm doing AS History
    wer doing three topics:
Stalin's Russia, Mao's China (both hav 30 mark questions)
Britain in India ( sources exam paper, 20 mark and 40 mark questions)

For the sources paper, u dont need to know a lot of facts, just the content
In the other paper, u need to know sum facts (so u memorise sum for each subtopic)
and dw I think with A levels u get mor help with ur essays and how to structure them coz ur teachers would mark ur essays more often and giv u detailed feedback on how u can improve

Nice my advice would be to get all A* and As in your subjects.
