Better shot than Greens, by a long, long way. Last I heard, Cameron was refusing to rule out a coalition with them.
Neither will reach near treble-digits in seats bearing in mind you need 326 to win an outright majority.

Farage despises Cameron, he'd be going back on everything he has campaigned for by joining the Tories.

More chance of a ConLib, LabLib or even LabSNP coalition.

You know when couples joke about the guy being whipped it usually means he has to watch the xfactor NOT that he gets imprisoned on election day.

    1) Man up and go vote.

    2) If she tries and stops you with any real conviction break up with her. I mean c'mon.

FYI for the record you are both wasting your vote they'll never get in and they're both ridiculous excuses for parties.

This might be the most ridiculous thread title I have ever seen. If you are that submissive I don't know what a girl worth being with would be doing with you

My advice: grow some and you might get a girlfriend who respects you as being a man

edit: I find it a bit strange that you are bold enough to vote UKIP (want to) but not to assert your right to vote, I will not go into the principles you go against, which I would have thought you'd associate with being British.

Take demand and control and be dominant. Don't let her take your right.

So she's allowed to vote but you're not?

Just vote although ukip is a poor choice. Ok I'm with the girl
I wouldn't vote for UKIP, either. But who would you vote for?

Lmao. Give her the two-finger salute. If you're remotely serious, it's not worth dating someone who wishes to control - and is unintelligent enough to try to persuade you to change - how you vote.

She won't see who you vote for.

Ask her why she's voting green, start to agree with what she says.

Tell her you've seen the green light and you'll vote green.

On the day of the election, ask her to remind you why you need to vote green. Go "Oh, yes, I remember" and give her the details back.

Then, when you go to vote, put the cross wherever the hell you want.

    Tell her you voted green.

And if you play your cards right, you should get some decent sex at least twice out of that. ;-)

In which case I wish you a happy life of being pathetically whipped unable to do anything you want without her approval. Dont think this irrational behaviour stops at the voting booth.

I bet your the type of person who she could cheat and you would say " oh it's ok your my first girlfriend, you can do it again cos i dont want to lose you"

My advice is to look at other policies and ideas UKIP has and fully think about the consequences of them coming into power, and if you still like their ideas then vote for who you like. If you only have that one reason for voting for UKIP, I can understand your girlfriend's frustration. Also, UKIP have a lot of sexist ideals which I guess your girlfriend doesn't want listening to. I'd also think about the fact that if you say voted Conservative, they'll have been swayed by all the UKIP attention to look more at immigration and be more right wing, but they won't come with the same sexism if they come into power.

Basically just thoroughly research the party you're voting for because it's a damn big decision to make! Voting for one reason is never a good idea. And then I guess your girlfriend has no right to stop you if you're fully informed about your decision.

You can literally say that you are going to vote.

I don't agree with voting for UKIP myself, but you're entitled to the right to vote as much as any of us.

Personally as blunt as it sounds I'm sorrrry, but I think it's a bit pathetic you're letting her stop you from voting.

We were talking about politics the other day and basically my girlfriend won't let me go and vote because she doesnt want me voting UKIP

Idk what to do, how can I get her to let me vote?
Obviously, she can't stop you from voting. That's your choice and your choice alone. However, I can understand why she wouldn't want you to vote UKIP. I certainly wouldn't want to have anything to do with anyone voting UKIP. If you want to vote UKIP then vote UKIP but I also think she is completely entitled to be very unhappy with that.

    Seriously, wtf?

I don't even like UKIP, but exercising the electoral franchise is our fundamental right as a man and a citizen. Why on earth would your girlfriend think she has the right to prevent you from doing this?

I suspect it's less about the actual vote and more about one of those mind games some girls like to play, "You wouldn't vote if you really love me" etc. It's a control freak thing

Are you able to back up that claim?
I quote Stuart Agnew, UKIP MEP for the East of England:

"If you look at the people who get degrees more, women get them and they are getting the jobs in the workplace but for various reasons they don’t have the ambition to go right to the top because something gets in the way. It’s called a baby."

" UKip has one MEP of the female persuasion left – Marta Andreasen – and she threatened to leave after painting Farage in a slightly poo-brown shade, she called Farage an “anti-women Stalinist dictator” whose view is that “women should be in the kitchen or in the bedroom”."

Ah, a quote from Bloom: "
no employer with a brain in the right place would employ a young, single, free woman."

"Farage once said that women with children were “worth less” than men in the financial sector. He claimed women with children were responsible for their own reduction in pay if they have children – because they take maternity leave and become less valuable to their businesses."

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/ukip-candidate-being-investigated-sexist-3482941 - This is an article on a candidate making some awful awful tweets.

Well, the Greens are socialists and therefore authoritarian by nature, so her behaviour doesn't surprise me.
This is an example of the educated British Left supporting "democracy" until they come across someone they disagree with. Vote for UKIP if you wish.
