    Prospective 2016 applicant here. Does anyone know whether it is acceptable or even good if one uses graphs to answer section 2 questions (e.g.. when it asks about something economics-y)?

    I agree with that. I think throwing diagrams in would just serve to prove that you aren't really thinking 'outside' your syllabus.

    I covered about 1 and 3/4 pages I think and my handwriting is fairly average.
