I regret not getting braces when I was younger (That being said, my teeth have only become bad now, say, in the last year or two. I miss having nice teeth  )

She reads my messages but never replies. What can you do?

Besides the past is the past.

Not getting a job earlier & wasting my 2nd year at Uni not doing most of the work & going to lectures/seminars. I should have just said that I wasn't enjoying it instead of keeping everything wrapped up

When I was a kid I often liked to be on my own, and when I started secondary school I basically shunned friendship because of it. Now I'm in my first year of university and I haven't managed to get out of that yet . I have basically no friends and I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of things.

It's easy for me to say this looking back though. At the time I was the "weird" kid and often made fun of, so I had good reason to want to be alone. But I do wish I'd acted differently, because I might not have ended up as socially awkward as I am now.

so what are you doing now in terms of university education or a job , did you have other aspirations?
I'm studying for a masters degree at the moment. I did have other aspirations, but for practical reasons they are unattainable unfortunately.

I'm in the UK, she's in Germany. She 'escaped' when she moved back to Germany after the first semester which was two years ago now. No point flogging a dead cow and those bridges have been burned. I've fallen for other girls since and will fall for more in the future.
