Bad.
Think about it. With the other potential coalition partners, the parties have had MPs for quite a while and have lots of experienced people in them. UKIP have only recently got 2 MPs through defections, and if they get enough seats to be useful in a coalition they'll have a lot of amateurs as MPs who've never been in parliament before. Not the sort of people you'd want to give cabinet positions to in a coalition government, they're more likely to mess things up. If UKIP got enough seats to go into a coalition, would it have enough MPs who are competent enough? -

Yes, I think it would be bad. Sadly though, I think it's a possibility, albeit a small one. Farage used to say that UKIP would never join a coalition government with Labour or the Tories, but he's more recently said he would if it got him what he wanted. I can't see Labour joining with UKIP, but I wouldn't rule out the Tories. After all, it's the Tory demographic that UKIP is best at winning over, so it would almost be better to have them working with you than against. I would hate to see this coalition come to power, but frankly it's a possibility that we should probably brace ourselves for, just in case the worst occurs.
