Mayweather has to - and will - win.

Should have happened 5 years ago.

I'm intrigued by how the broadcasting battle takes place in the UK.

Mayweather's fights have as of late, been on BoxNation but surely Sky will look to capitalise on this and get this fight on SBO? If Boxnation get it, I would **** the subscription aspect and let fans buy the fight for a one-off fee and milk the money.

I heard it's going to be $89.95 over there.

Think SBO will get it. Going to be the first ever PPV fight in Britain that doesn't involve a British boxer.

I think it's $55 for standard PPVs and then like $70-75 for Mania.

Thought this would never happen the way it just kept dragging on, better late than never!

Hate to say it but think Mayweather will win by decision, hope Pacman smashes him though

Good piece on how the fight got made.

At the height of the Mayweather-Pacquiao rumours in 2009-10, I assumed the problems were insurmountable due to their different promoters etc but reading that, it never truly was that hard. Think this time it has helped that Manny is probably in a weaker position since then so probably more easier to get it FINALLY made.

    Couple of quick updates:

    - Freddie Roach recently said in an interview that he's happy Floyd Sr is training his son rather than Roger, as Roach believes Roger is the better trainer.

    - 50 cent is betting $1.6m on Floyd to win.

I'm hiring sparring partners, Al Haymon's people calls them up and offers more money for them not to come. [But] I'm not worried about those guys," said Roach.

We got four really good sparring partners for Manny for this fight, Mayweather look-alikes.

The guy is undefeated, he's a very good boxer and he's the most talented fighter we'll ever face. He's tricky also... he's intelligent as a fighter. I believe we need to fight the perfect fight," said Roach.

Speed movement, power... We may need to be aggressive at times because our opponent likes to run a lot, but we will find him," he said. "It's not going to be easy. But styles make fights and I think I have the right guy for this fight.
    - Freddie Roach.

Interesting about Haymon offering his sparring partners more money lol. Roach should get B-Hop in to spar Manny. If he can outbox a 180lbs defensive wizard, I reckon he'd be all right against a 150lbs defensive super-wizard.
