my way of remembering that the independent variable goes on the x axis of a graph is 'when you have an eX boyfriend, you're independent'

ALSO the dependent variable is the one you measure, i remember this by thinking that i DEPEND on it for my results.

Thank You so much that really helped

Wow thank you all for this thread! I'm doing this practical tomorrow so I feel a little relieved now. My teacher did say that it was very easy.

Any extra tips?

Please let us know about the written exam. Thanks again!

Please keep this in mind when talking about ISAs. It's not fair for someone to sit the paper and then the people afterwards to have an advantage when sitting it, and that is cheating.

I wonder what type of graph they'll make us plot - in the past papers it's been bar charts/histograms

you can do well without cheating.

just think over your experiment and understand it, then the questions will just be common sense

Can someone please tell me the difference between ISA and EMPAs? are they the same thing?
An ISA is marked by your teacher so you get to know a rough guess of your grade whereas an EMPA is sent off so you only find out when you get all your results, at our college we usually use the EMPA as a last resort for if we fail at the 2 ISA tries!
Hope this helps
