I used to take diazepam before every flight (I fly about 8 times a year), but recently I've found just having the diazepam in my pocket is enough to stop me freaking out. I'd say my fear has gone from 9 to perhaps 6.

Probably 6. I know it's statistically more dangerous in a car but still can't get over it

I used to be scared of flying when I was younger, but grew out of it. Now I just hop on a plane and go, don't even think about the dangers.

4 or 5 and I'm studying aerospace Although it's mostly a mix of my hometown's airport being quite a rough takeoff and landing and having enough knowledge to know when there's a bad pilot onboard
