Why do you say it's not suitable for children to see? I don't necessarily disagree, but I wonder why you think this?
Because sex is not a well understood thing for small children. If they have been exposed to pornography then they may understand the mechanics of sex, but not of the science and what needs to happen in a woman's body for her to become pregnant. For a child, hearing that a woman bleeds every month is one things. It is another to see it so graphically in a picture, especially when they may not fully understand it. It is horrifying.

Ew gross, why would you do that? It's like posting a picture of yourself lying in your piss and then commenting how it is "ridiculing mankind because everyone pisses". People like her give us feminists a bad name, who are actually care for real causes, unlike this.
Agreed

Horrifying? Is that not a bit extreme? I don't think the photo is that graphic.

I understand your point of view, but could you not also argue that if a girl grew up knowing what a period was - and what it looks like - then she would not feel scared by it (and ashamed) when she gets her first one?
There would be no need to go into great detail about sex in order to explain to a child what a period is and why women get them. I don't think this photo could harm a child in any significant way, although that does not mean I see the point of posting it on a social media site.
