I am not surprised that they are buying their reputation with paid testimonials. When my group was in China, the owner Yuri offered all of us $500 "rebates" if we were willing to give a 5 minute video testimonial. Although we were told we could say anything we wanted, all the negative comments were edited out! A lot of interns demanded refunds and some were tricked into giving video testimonials by being told they would get a 50% refund but the checks had "to be processed from Hong Kong". Because of this many people would say just about anything to get back $1,800. I would bet every dollar I have that I was not the only one who never got my refund. And I think three years is enough time "to process a check" anywhere on Earth. Below is a picture of the owner. Everyone assumes that a Chinese guy owns the company but really he is Russian. Hey China Girl - I love your poem girl! I found these images and a lot more at http://chinascampatrol.wordpress.com

I found this thread at Scam.com which indicates this company sells based on only deceptions:
http://www.scam.com/showthread.php?6...rsity-students

Also, this Gi2c uses another name (Getin2China) to sell the same fraud and that name was outed back in 2010 as a scam. See below.

Last but not least, when I google "China internship opportunities" I find dozens of Gi2C video testimonials popping up all over the place but as usual, no way to know who these people really are. As it turns out they are mostly expat uni students studying in China who need to make a few extra dollars - $1,000 to be exact: http://www.scam.com/showthread.php?6...ials-For-1-000!

You can even read a testimonial from a real client who was told to lie to visa officials by the Gi2C staff here: http://www.scam.com/showthread.php?6...rsity-students

2017 UPDATE:

Dear friends,

Beware that this internship fraud is still going strong by the same group of crooks who expanded their advertising under various names and here is the most recent of 4 alias names according to scam.com;
https://www.scam.com/showthread.php?...LACKLIST/page7 They are now also peddling the tier 3 black market jobs as well as the internships.

Just scroll down to posts #56 and #63. These are very creative crooks who want your money so be careful. They are super smooth.
