Would it be OK if I put 3p+3q for the y coordinate of R?

Yes they allow that if you see on other markschemes

^^ I'm dying for an answer lmao, help :afraid:
it might then it might not.

but it may be missed in marking since you have recovered incorrectly.

For Q7 i left the coordinates in a matrix form, would i lose a mark?
Also for 4c) i wrote z3 not z1+z2 but drew it correctly, would i lose a mark on that?
Finally for the induction i did n=1 and found n=k but couldnt do the rest, how many marks would i get? 2 or 3?

    Thanks a lot
Q7 - yes you'd lose a mark (As the question specified coordinates(See other markschemes))
4C) you'd get full marks for that dont worry(Thats all they wanted)
You'd have to check old markschemes, but I'd say 3 if you at least attempted k+1 if not probs only 2

    Here you go FP1 fans

I thought that was quite tricky in places.

I doubt I have used the most efficient methods as mine seemed too long on a couple.

Boundaries, no idea, probably a bit lower than normal.
    Hi Arsey,
Would we get a follow through mark if we got the wrong inverse but the correct coordinates given that inverse?

Having seen the paper and solutions I feel as I mentioned earlier that A will be at around 60.
This is also backed up by the thread with the poll as to how people found it.
What did you think of the paper?

Would we get a follow through mark if we got the wrong inverse but the correct coordinates given that inverse?

I think the FP1s from EDEXCEL have been a true joke.

That changed last June, when the paper was about right (59 for an A if I am not mistaken)
This paper I think is also ok (ever so slightly easier)

Your follow-through mark does depend on the marking scheme which will be produced after the provisional marking based on a sample.

    Thankyou very much Arsey!!!

I think it will be 60 for an A.
I am fairly sure that I got 67, and I really hope this is 90 ums!
