Now that I've posted it, I can't help thinking how sh*t it is. But yeah, it's about a near-death experience I had in a motorbike crash in October 2013. Did the whole heart fail/lung fail thing, and was comatose for a while. So figured I'd try writing about it,

Thank you guys for asking! I wouldn't have posted it otherwise :'
Wow - traumatic! I'm no poet or critic, but I like it :-)

i enjoyed your poem... sorry to hear about your crash.

is Lu a reference to the Celtic god Lug ?
As you probably know, Lucifer is The Morning Star; at least as He's defined in Genesis or Paradise Lost, so that's what I was going for. My knowledge of Lug is very limited, was he a hero?

And thank you for your feedback!

I will say: it's not something I ever thought I'd experience :') but it's nothing compared to what most people experience with that sort of thing, I coulve been brain-damaged or crippled my spine etc. So I'm very lucky!

    He

Feel how quick the quiet comes over,
Dragging you down beneath the dirt,
A long day in late October,
Lu, it seems, is quite the flirt.

He with eyes that dance at night,
The Morning Star stares from afar,
    Holding you in his palm,

    I felt Him.

It is he, you see, who decides,
Upon your hate and all your lies,
Whether to be trapped, or to be free,
He decided when He turned to me,
    That I would burn below,

    With He.
This was actually really good and I'm not just saying that, like if I thought it was bad I probably just wouldn't post anything but this was good! It got better when I read what it was about because it all made sense then. You got anymore? I love reading poetry

Hey, here is one from me just a short one i don't know If you chaps can Relate to it and find something touchy about the past.

    "Fragile shoes"

Following the crowd, I've wandered so far,,,
And now, I don't know where I left my shoes.

    I don't need them anymore.

They will taunt me if they ever find me.
They will remind me of myself: the glory.the charisma and the beauty.

I would smile and turn back.

Feel free to pm me the rest if you want to/don't feel comfortable to post them here. I'm curious

Thank you, that's lovely of you to say I'm sorry it's been so long, but there's another if you'd like it happens to be religiously inspired again :' )

    Gethsemane.

If a soul weighs half as heavy as a drop of rain,
Then what's weather in the garden of Gethsemane?

    Would it be fair then,
To say a man with care would leave the Romans in their lair
While we whisper a prayer and bare our souls?

    No.

    Get your magnifying glass.
You'll need it from all the way up there.
We who deny Him are enslaved,
While the rapist who repented will be saved.

    I hope you're wearing a f*cking red nose.
