Not the cinema, you can't talk! Unless you do something else as well.

I've always gone for lunch/dinner or for a drink when it's the first date and everyone's been happy!

    Something significant to you both.

My friend watched this show right. The girl loves loves travelling. The guy knew that. So their first date was in their dance studio (where they met) and he got all these foods from different places of the world. And made her a passport ( a fake one obvs). And was like 'where do u wanna travel to' and she said 'India' so they had Indian food. V v cool because it was especially significant to the girl, so it was just perfect.

However, life is not a tv show so this is horribly unrealistic but my point still stands. A creative significant date would be a perfect first date idea

Or I guess you could just do cool stuff like ice skating, bowling, go-karting, paintballing, etc?
great idea. perhaps a bit full on for a first date but main thing is you enjoy yourself

    First date ideas...

Lol do not listen to the girls saying you should make some grand gesture for your first date....and then for example, if two dates later the girl stops responding to your texts you feel like an idiot for going to all that time and effort on her.

First date should never be anything more expensive/time-consuming to arrange than coffee/couple drinks. You shouldnt be putting real time and money into a girl until your sure she's really interested in you, and in most cases you wont know this until the 3rd date.
