I've never asked; I've been offered twice. The first time I insisted on paying, the second time I said **** it. It works both ways. Some guys think offering to buy a drink means the girl will sleep with them automatically; like the reverse, its not many but its enough.

I don't go to clubs so I'm not a genius in that area but I know some girls do that as a way of either simply getting free drinks (obvs) or it's a way of asking 'are you interested in me?', so they might be hitting on you. Or just taking advantage of you, and I too would be pissed if they asked me to buy them a drink and I don't even know them.

Wow I didn't know that happened in real life. Those girls must be broke and desperate I've never known a woman to stoop to that.

Same with asking for group photos aswell.

I think essentially the main issue at play here is that clubbers in general are ******s.

Hand them a tap water, ***** it's 5 pound for a pint in here!
    Yep

Just say "yeah sure", get them a tap water and ask them to say thank you.

Might get a slap though, funny.

    0.o girls actually do this???

I think you should take it it turns buying each other drinks, or just buy your own.

However, you should also never buy someone a drink with expectations attached. A drink =/= a right to sex
I think it's fair to have some minimal expectations, like that she has some interest in you.

OP, next time a girl does this just ask her why she wants a drink. Be cheeky rather than confrontational.

I had a couple of girls come up to me and ask me to buy them drinks a little while ago, still have no idea how, but they ended up paying for drinks, so I got free drinks for them, if i figure out what i said i'll enlighten you all. But i do agree it's a seriously annoying problem, and it goes down to the natural sociological development that men are providers, so in some respects it's sorta alright, but with the overwhelming feminist movement now, where society is willing to smite you for not supporting the movement, i don't think it's fair for girls to have so many unequal expectations of guys such as buying drinks for them unconditionally. My point is that two of the biggest pressures on men is the masculine expectations of us along with the pressure from the feminist movement to treat women equally, quite frankly these two issues conflict and cause problems such as this, and as far as i'm concerned, the women responsible for these issues need to sort themselves out before they criticize men. Next time a girl asks you to buy them a drink, ask them what their opinion is on feminism and then male equality.
