Someone that I have at least one thing in common with that I like conversing with.
Interesting. I find it interesting to see how different people have different definitions of the term "friend".

For example some say they must have known them for a certain length of time, or known them in person. Or that there is reciprocity within the relationship, be that emotional or intellectual.

I heard this in bermondsey earlier: "Weez off for a peri peri" (in that chav accent) - i cringed both because i'm a vegan and because of the grammar!

    Also:

"init bruv" - that annoys me.

    and:

"wagwan ma bredderin" - but this is becoming extinct to some extent (thank my atheist god!)

and "seen" and "safe", in the place of "I see" and "thank you"

Why are barely any of these even colloquial terms...

    "I'm depressed"
    "I have ocd"

Darlings these are ordinary sentences not colloquialisms.

''Off for a cheeky nandos with the lads''
To me, "Cheeky Nandos" sounds like a sex act, done multiple times. "Good night in with the missus last night? Did you try out the Cheeky Nando?" "Yes mate, I gave her THREE Cheeky Nandos!".
Certainly puts an interesting spin on the phrase "Cheeky Nandos with the lads"

At what point does a Nando's stop being warranted and instead become "cheeky", anyway?
