Of course. God has made it clear there is no escaping sin in the hereafter
Well.. that contradicts the purpose of Jesus's crucifixion.

I don't see how someone could genuinely believe in hell and not be driven mad by the thought of it.

I once visited Croydon, so yes, Hell does indeed exist.

Of course hell exists as a real physical place. It is more commonly known as Sunderland.

Not only ISIS other people like boko haram and every other terrorists/ Hitler. Many more
I'd disagree, no one deserves hell. Why would you wish someone else to be tortured and burned forever? That's psychotic...

A real physical place? That only the mind enters while the body is decaying in the ground?

And where is this place, in the centre of the Earth?

Nope, hell is a fictitious place that was historically designed to keep the masses under control and use fearmongering as a means to ensure their good behaviour.

The idea that an all-knowing deity would engage in such a primitive system of reward and punishment is absurd in my opinion.

Guess that depends who you ask. The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures as used by Jay's Witnesses, for example, states that God says there is no punishment, only reward in the form of a life in some kind of perfect Earth v2.0.

Well, that's more of a Christo thing, I think the JWits idea is more focused on worshipping God himself rather than his son. But yeah, same general principle, adhere to the rules of the religion and ye shall be rewarded, though it seems the reward for following each religion is different
