I think men make more attacking comments which are designed to hurt someone, whereas women are more likely to reach a compromise.. in terms of typing I don't think it's a thing anymore but in MSN days a girl would have every letter as an image so it was impossible to read xD then men would just spam that flashing square which felt like your brain was frying T_T

I just base it on their pictures. If it's a girl in the picture they are female if it's a guy they are male. Never really works but just the way it is, I just assume that the picture is of them. Even when it obviously isn't.

I've noticed that a lot more women than men start their sentences without a capital letter. They also try to be sarcastic more.

Kinda looks down on guys who use a lot of emojis in their conversations.....just seems a bit juvenile, I mean you cant have a conversation without using a (^_^) or (O_O)?

I realised you were a guy because of something someone said on a thread somewhere, I can't remember what thread. I just remember thinking "Oh, rainbowkiwi isn't a girl? O.O! " Hahah.

Do you think certain behaviours are indicative of certain genders online?
For example, I tend to associate writing with full punctuation, few emojis, and full spelling with a male whereas I presume people who write in text-speak with lots of smiley faces to be female. It doesn't make sense though because I do not present myself on the internet in the way I associate with females, plus I've spoken to many people who defy both of these presumptions.
Any thoughts? Do you do this also?
I think girls tend to write in longer sentences with more 'flow'. Guys tend to use shorter sentences. Lots of full stops. Like this. Guys tend to focus more on facts and what is objectively 'true' and how different things compare, girls generally talk about how something 'feels'.

Oh and guys are more blunt and offensive. And I would guess 99% of trolls are males.
