On their website it states that we will hear back two weeks after the application deadline (which was 7th December) - so should hear back sometime next week I'm hoping.
Yeah. I e-mailed and they said we will hear back in mid December so you're about right.

Got an email yesterday saying Ive passed the video interview stage and now have to complete a profiling test (not assessed, just to check which area of the Bank would be most suitable for me) and an 'element' test. No idea what the latter really means.
It also mentioned the ACs will be held 11-29.1.

Thanks! I did my interview around a month ago. Afair there was no option to choose a specific division on the application form but I am applying for an Economist role if that helps (i.e. Specialist).

Also unsure what to expect from the 'element' test. Does anyone think it will be more economics based, or more along the lines of the PST?

    Hey congrats!!

I hope your test went okay (that is if you've done it) and you progress through. I've also got through to the online element test and profiling test and I was wondering, if you didn't mind, sharing a little more detail about it.

I know that you might not want to go into specifics regarding the element test but I would greatly appreciate a general overview on what its like, how many questions etc.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post and I would appreciate any response

Hey, I think the element test is just the talent Q assessments that we had to pass before the video interview. Hope that help!

Hey congrats to you too! As you know the profiling test is non-assessed and I can assure you you can't really prepare for the element one... Therefore I feel it would be extremely difficult for me (and fairly pointless) to describe it in detail. Believe me, all the instructions you got in the email is enough and the tests are both non-timed so I think some may find them easier than previous assessment stages. Good luck!

Ah ok thank you! Would you mind sharing how many questions there were?

Also have you applied for a specialist role?

Has anyone heard back after the final test and questionnaire or know when we might hear back? Also does anyone know the starting salary on the grad scheme? Is it the same for economists and non economists?

Not sure when we hear back but given ACs start on 11th Jan, it should be soon, hope so! Also how did you find the final test? I found it rather difficult given I thought the questions were really vague and even problematic- some of them?

I think that they told us the assessment centre dates so that they could put off getting back to us until the new year.

Agreed on the test though, so not holding my breath for an invitation to ac at this point.

I also found some questions problematic, there are definitely changes they should make to make it less ambiguous!

You can see what score you guys got on the test. Just click the progress button at the top of the exercise and it shows what score you got on both days.

Exactly. What kind of scores did you get and any idea what the cutoff might be?

haha fair enough. I think it should probably be around 70ish? Although that is basically a random guess not based on much evidence.
