    Heriot-Watt for some courses. Last year somehow guardian put it at 1st for civil engineering and 2nd this year. Really don't know how it was above Imperial in 2015. QS put it in the top 150 for the course worldwide.

    Depends on what course you want to do.

    Work out what course you want to do, then run a search on whatuni which will allow you to filter by grades.

    At the end of it all, it's not about going to what everyone else sees as the 'best universities', it's about what universities suit your personal needs. Look at accommodation, any support you might need, city/campus, individual course modules and, most importantly, how the university feels. I will soon end up rejecting a university that is (slightly) higher on the league tables because it didn't feel right.
