    Just trying to uplift and give some hope to people. I think it's important to know that no matter what happens between the age of 16 - 18 you can still achieve your goals. Even if that is being a doctor.

    I'll just point out that I am just as competent as every other SHO I've come across too! Haha

    You're probably fine but I'm not an expert lol, there's always medicine with a foundation year as a back up plan if you're worried/perform not too great in your AS levels! I'm considering medicine with a foundation year because I don't do chemistry!

    Do u mean like biomedical science to Medicine?

    Not really...

    The foundation year is like a 'prep' year for entry into the formal medicine course, if you fail the foundation year you are not allowed to enrol on the medicine course.

    Have a look at Manchester's foundation medicine course.

    Ohhhh right. I hadnt heard about this before. So u pass the foundation year and then go straight to the 1st year med course?

    As far as I can tell, yes.

    But I'd apply for one as a back up.
