If you have to pay for sex at uni you're doing it wrong, or you're just unattractive I guess
I'm very ugly (which is fine, doesn't bother me) so escorts are the way.

I think you should. Because everyone is saying that you should 'find a girl' and that 'someone will find you attractive'.. This may be true but then you're just using someone, unless you make it clear that you just want sex.. It just might be a bit hurtful, so I'd go for the prostitute

Dude- Don't listen to kiera28. Messing with that dark side of life will mess you up bigtime. I know.
Sort yourself out by reading some books to help your low self-esteem. Watch motivational speakers on YouTube like Johnny Berba.
No matter how bad it gets for you or how you feel about yourself (your self-image aka your self-portrait), going down the route of
paying for sex will never bring you the satisfaction you're really after. It'll do the opposite and make you feel WORSE.
Be wise. Heed the warning, mate.

It's fine, i think i'm more interested in a massage parlour as massages can ease the depression but the ending can be great

But yeah it is getting worse being in uni everyday

Try for something other than an escort. Too expensive. There's places that can give you the satisfaction you need for £50 for 30 minutes. My opinion is that you'll find it a negative experience, it really isn't all that its hyped up to be. I'm suffering from similar issues as you, although my social circle is better but I've been frustrated for a long time and even though I have a few female friends, I haven't been able to 'get a girl' and all that other stuff. Bearing in mind I live in halls and I'm a second year, so yeah... I'd advise dealing with your issues first, you won't get the love you want from an escort if you don't love yourself. Doesn't mean you have to become arrogant and all that but you gotta realise beauty and all the standards are bullcrap, If you don't believe me, go outside and you see all kinds of couples, no matter how you look, there's always someone that appreciates you for you. Learnt that the hard, still learning but at least I'm not self harming and all that because I realised it was all a lie bro.

    Prostitution aint the answer.
You will find someone once you find love for yourself.
When you pay for sex, you get a memory that becomes a permanent stain in your brain.
It will never leave you. Do you want that?
Don't fall in the trap of thinking it ends once you leave, it doesn't.
Exercise more, get on with your interests, be with your mates, read.

Can I just add on what you said about easing depression?
Going to that parlour will multiply your depression ten-fold later.
Trust me on that. It's an illusion.
Sort out your self-image and build up your self-esteem and worth and you'll
realise you deserve a lot better than paying for sexual services.

Aww this post made me feel so sad. Please don't feel like you have to resort to paying for sex - you are worth more than that. Sex isn't everything, I'm not a Virgin, I have a boyfriend, but I don't rely on sex to keep me content. Please try to find other ways of making yourself happy - meditation or exercising! Sex is not as good with a random girl who may be riddled with diseases, it's much better when you have it with someone you love and care for! Please wait until you find the right person! Keep studying hard and don't be so hard on yourself! I hope you recover from your depression soon, but you're worth much more than you think!

It's too expensive to be worthwhile, £100 per hour is a waste of money. If you want to get a decent amount of sex that'll keep you satisfied, you'll have to spend a lot of money, so it's not worth it (unless you have money to throw around).

That's the same thing as going to a prostitute.. Get some counselling. There must be some good services offered by the Uni or NHS or private even.

    A very controversial topic.

I'm a first year (foundation year actually ) student and i really like the idea of having sex with escorts. I'm a christian and i feel pissed off all the time so i'm thinking a little fun won't hurt.

Has any uni student paid for escorts and also how was it like
go to a strip club and find urself a girl.

i visit prossies easy to find on adultwork . i end upo leaving happy but unsatisfied later on . im in my 3rd year of uni live at home and only have friends on my course . im very shy and socially awkward and rarely go out on the piss unless mates from school.
i can justify it as i dont spend money on booze often so indulge in a prossie every so often. I would prefer a long term relationship

I really don't understand paying for sex. What appeal does it give to anyone?

I'm incredibly ugly/lonely/unloveable and will die alone, but even though I have lots of money to burn it's not something i've even remotely considered. I just don't see how that is going to solve anything.

Are there girls available at "strip clubs" and if so, are they whores or girls seeking relationships? Are we talking lap dancing bars? Would you be able to tell the difference between whore and non whore in such places?

I'd suggest you go for escorts. Find one with a price that best suits your budget and has good reviews from other guys. I'm sorry to hear about your depression but I reckon you could end up making yourself worse if you don't do something about this soon. I've been in your position and it was horrible so I would hate for the same thing to happen to you.

What a lot of the people above don't realise is that by going to an escort, you cut out so many problems that ordinary girls give you when it comes to sex. Just being good looking is not enough to help you pull in clubs. And it's a hell of a lot more difficult for someone like me who doesn't drink so is immediately rejected by everyone for being "boring" even when I make an effort to go out on club nights with people who do drink. Sometimes even getting a girl home with you and into your bed doesn't mean you'll get laid because she starts ******** about something else and taking it all out on you. With an escort you can get straight to business, she will help you feel comfortable and you'll actually get your money's worth. I've been using escorts for a few years, once every 4 or 5 months to de-stress. As long as you use them in moderation and don't go overboard with your spending, using an escort every now and then doesn't hurt anyone and you get everything you need without any extra hassle. I'd completely recommend it.

Charlie Sheen was deliberately having unprotected sex with prostitutes - he was bound to pick up a disease at some point. Just a shame it had to be HIV - but that was probably because he had been doing it for so long. Safe sex is a perfectly understandable thing for a guy to want, so as long as OP uses protection every time, how is that different to a guy who pulls girls all the time in clubs? It's just an unnecessary stigma against prostitution. They're not all drug addicts or mingers you know. Many of them are students just like us who want to take care of their own health and insist on condoms every time. Those are the girls you want to see.

I'm assuming you've never used prostitutes before - so how would you know how OP will feel after he's used one? He might end up feeling a lot better about himself and it could be quite alleviating for his depression. Not everything is solved with "exercise" - you're obviously lucky enough to be in a position where you've never been desperate for sex and unable to attract girls. "Finding love for yourself" is the most useless advice anyone can give - how does that solve the problem for OP now? He's supposed to be depressed and go without sex until maybe he finds someone, which could be years away? That's so cruel of you to expect that from a bro.
