    If you do some googling there are lots of different ideas around. I tended to breathe in for three long seconds counting in my head or out loud and then the same letting the breath out, all the time with my eyes shut. My teacher also taught me to clench and unclench my fists at the same time as the breathing.

    Trust me we all feel that way...the person at the student party shouting the loudest and being the most confident is probably the most socially anxious person! Trying to deflect their anxiety and be above suspision
