What we really need is a government that focuses on the poor and working class, taxes the rich to pay for them.

Maybe my school wasn't normal, but where I went for GCSEs (majority Asian mind) there was no favouring of girls for support over boys.
Often, a teacher would put on an extra help session after school or during lunch for the whole class. It was mainly girls who chose to go.

Now, at the Sixth Form College I'm in, it doesn't matter if you're brown, white, female or male, it's compulsory for you attend extra sessions if you're falling behind in class. I don't see any inequality there.

At my school, average males are essentially put first

Okay, having a 'lets get a c' group is perfectly fine, as the 5a*-c is the only benchmark anybody cares about, let alone individual results

The mentoring schemes we do, two of them are aimed exclusively at boys. Let's be honest, one gender is going to be marginally better than the other, but it oscillates equally between the genders, so that's hardly any statistical use than as a Daily Mail headline.

I suspect you've seen the thread started recently to discuss why working class white males are performing the worst at school.

Within the first page, I saw several replies (with numerous amounts of reps on them) that explicitly said or implied it was because they are lazy.

Now, imagine we were discussing why black people have the highest crime rate of any ethnic group in America. If anyone dared to suggest that it was in any way black people's fault (I'm not saying it is at all), they would be torn apart.

From my own experience at state school, I see an entire group of people in each year who are just doomed. This is a mixed male and female group, and they usually just leave education at 16.

However, I'd have to say that the next lowest group is boys who are slightly below average, average or exceptionally above average. This is in terms of resources and attention given to their education. I'm saying that all girls (other than those in the 'doomed' group) and slightly above average boys get the most attention. I'm not sure the reason why (in my case anyway) it's only slightly above average boys who get attention equal to girls.

In the lead up to GCSEs, the attention my friends and I (myself and 1 friend are exceptionally above average, the rest are average or below) got compared to some people was ridiculously low. I could tell months in advance that most of my friends would struggle to get 5C's, yet most teaching attention was given to the middle class white girl who wants to study music at Bath, or the black girl who 'needs' to get an A*, so it can be mentioned in some banal report pn diversity.

I'm from a lower-middle class family, and although I have done well for myself so far, I'm able to see unfairness. Everything at school revolves around the whims of females in the class (this may sound petty, but the amount this happened at my school, for example not doing science practicals because they 'stink'. Furthermore, any dissent against this cultural marxist attitude is dismissed as being a BNP supporting foreigner hating ****.

brb learnt french entirely off my own back, you talk about cultural enrichment yet 'languages are boring'

brb teachers who demonize any type of masculinity

brb special classes and courses just for girls

brb positive discrimination denying me and other guys places for things

wow felt good to get all that off my chest.

    come at me
Lmao I love when white people talk about black people and crime rates. Here's a fact for you, in that same country black people killed by the police are twice as likely to be unarmed.

In the UK, black people on average receive 60% longer criminal sentence for the same crime as their white counter-part. How many crimes actually go unreported, how many rich white kids never get charged for crimes they commit because of daddy's lawyer? Oh. Crime rates. Justice. That's right.

Now back to the question, if you look at some of the areas in the UK that have high poverty levels, and some of the areas in the UK where the educational standards are generally lower than the rest of the UK, you will be able to see that a good deal of those geographical locations are not very diverse, and so as there are a higher concentration of people in these areas who are white, this affects the statistics that were published.

You can blame black people for their behaviour, you blame whites, you can blame Muslims, you can blame anyone. Reasonable people do.

    This sad little rant seems to forget that currently;
Muslims are facing significant hostility due to their actions.
Blacks are facing criticism due to their response to discontent in the US (rioting) as well as their disproportionate number in prison in the UK.

But now when whites face criticism it is "oh, not fair, not fair, whine whine whine".
Funny, when people (me included) were making these threads criticising others you didn't post at all defending them. No the shoe is on the other foot you don't like it?
Laughable. It is perfectly fine to criticise in society other people, it happens a lot on here and the media. But as soon as it happens to you there is whining and moaning.

Get over yourself OP. One little thread and you can't take it. Other groups get so much more criticism.

That would be the experience of many-girls do tend to have a better attitude when it comes to school education. Mine included.
