    The photo probably makes it look smaller than it is.

    Looks good - and 42 inches is big enough for most people. My TV in my room is 29 inches and perfectly good for what I need it as.

    Well I have a TV, Mac mini and PS plugged into an amp which supplies the two speakers, that is a home cinema of sorts. Obviously lacking a projector.

    Putting a projector in my flat would be silly because there isn't enough space.

    Not really. If there's not enough space you can dismantle it if you don't need it.
