If there was an award for 'Comeback Kid' I'd nominate myself, but as there's not I'll think on it for a bit and make my nominations later today. 😃

Can I make multiple nominations for the same award?
There was a lot of great legislation last term so I'd also like this answered. I think we were allowed last time though.

I'll accept multiple nominations, as before. All awards bar the final one will be decided by a vote.

Pretty Sure your not the only new members
I'm just got here and I've annoyed a lot of people so far.

I can't really do this because I'm not sure I know enough of the House to do this.

    I would definitely nominate you.

    Alongside myself.

I'm too new to do this though, can't think of an MP for most of them

I joined in late September or early October I believe. Been an MP for Labour since only a few days if I recall after I joined, and retained my seat in Parliament in the last election

    Welcome to the MHoC Awards!

After the busiest term on record, it's time to take a look back at the highlights of the 21st Parliament and celebrate those who have made the biggest contributions.

    The seven award categories are:

    Debater of the Parliament
The member whose sheer wit and dazzling persuasion have left you in absolute awe.

    Newbie of the Parliament
A member who, though unheard of six months ago, has made the best impression since then.

    Award for Best Legislation
A showstopping tract of legalese that made you go all weak at the knees.

    Comedian of the Parliament
Awarded to the wittiest member whose contributions always give the House a few lighter moments.

    Drunkard of the Commons Bar
The MHoC's resident drink lover who can do a superb Eric Joyce impression.

    Ms or Mr Congeniality
The nicest member of the House.

The Speaker's Award (AKA Order of Gladstone)
An honorary award for the member who's most caught my eye during the 21st Parliament.

PM me your nominations by 9pm on Tuesday 17th.

    Voting will commence shortly afterwards!

    Finally, good luck!

    You disagree.

I'm not sure I can vote for myself.

I certainly disagree with giving Stannis Best Legislation!

Rakas21 You're nominating me for Drunkard? Thanks (I think) I don't think I'll be beating the likes of Jammy Duel though.

I rarely actually drink in the bar, even if I will make up most of the posts of the top god knows how many; I prefer real alcohol

I prefer to buy drinks for other people.
A good cuppa is often much nicer.

Ah. I left out the bill bit because I'm on my phone. Need to check HANSARD.
