Th best way to respond when a girl says maybe is to ask another girl out at the same time (or pretend that you did) and before the first girl has the chance of saying no to you (and she almost certainly will), tell her that you have a date with another girl and that you have to cancel.

This works best if you have more than one woman in your life. If you don't and you want maintain your integrity, just tell her later that you aren't feeling it any more.

If it comes to the point where she says no to you, you've let yourself lose all attractiveness in her eyes. It's better to push her away and pull her back later, than it is to let her push you away. In the latter case you are a rejected loser. It will take months for you to recover your value in her eyes, and most probably you will lose interest or dive into the friend zone.

How did you meet her? And was she keen before you mentioned meeting up?

We're on the same course.

Hard to say if she's keen. She's the flirty type to lots of people so not sure.

Depends how she said it. If her tone was outrageously flirtatious and she winked, hoisted up a tit and licked it, then she might have meant yes.

Yeah that never happened. More like a "see how I feel" kinda reply.

It's an obvious "no" then
