MOGAI vs. LGBTQIAP+

I prefer either LGBTQIA or LGBT+.

Absolute nonsense. The only thing that's ambiguous is whether you genuinely believe that you're non-binary or if you try and pretend to be different to hide insecurities, for lulz, or whatever. People are straight, or gay, or bi, and I can hear arguments for very small numbers of people being transgender, but the need to classify yourself into x, or indeed decategorise the system in some kind of wannabe internet revolution, is just evidence of people with too much spare time.

Or maybe I know myself better than you do.
No human being can memorize those long and ongoing acronyms. Just wait until next year or this year until the lgbt decides to add another made up sexuality- I'm betting it on it. That is why people can only name the first 4 because that's our limit and they sound legit.

Someone please tell me how queer is an gender or even a thing?! Pansexual is the fancy dancy word for bisexual. It just sounds more original incase you want to sound more unique than those bi folk.

Pansexual = attracted to both genders
Bisexual = attracted to both genders.

The pansexual is just in denial of his/ her bisexuality or some person who wants to sounds so "unique" and 2cool4u, lol.

Got nothing against "pansexuals" or bi people. Have you ever seen a bi and a girl write "pansexual" on her arm like there is a difference? I have.

Gay, straight and bi cover everything. If you're "sexually and romantically attracted to awesome people but don't really understand whether gender has an impact on your attraction", you're bi.

Tell me again how you know how I feel better than I do... Because I've spent a ****ing long time thinking about this.

Easy, you are confused.

Yes. Confused why loads of randomers on the internet want to label my sexuality for me when I've already stated how I identify.
The acronym I use is SAGA is Sexuality And Gender Alliance. Personally, its much more inclusive to people and loses the need of so many letters. Fair enough, I can roll so many sexualities off my toungue but if I do that, there would be at least 20 more letters on the end of LGBTQIIAP+. Also, it stops people getting confused. Within the SAGA community, A is to stand for Asexual, Aromantic and Agender, most definitely not Ally, and that's because Ace/Aro people tend to be opressed by so many people, having been opressed for that reason myself, so it gives these people more recognition.

Also SAGA removes labels and also confusion over each letter. A could be ace or allosexual. P could be pan or poly or polyamorous (Sorry I can't spell it). It's so much easier
I'm cupioromantic agender genderflux asexual. And nobody can tell me otherwise. I have spent so much of my time trying to figure out who I am which means I know myself better than you know me.

Pansexual is sexual attraction to all genders (with preference or leaning)
Omnisexual is sexual attraction to everyone regardless of gender (also known as gender blind )
Polysexual is sexual attraction to some but not all genders
Bisexual is sexual attraction to two genders (not strictly male and female )

^^ Hope that helps! And don't say that they are the same as a proud non-binary queer person you are erasing my existence and I get enough of it already

Being intersex is a physical state,so it's not the same as being transgender. I agree that the acronyms are trying to be too PC and are utterly ridiculous now.

I wonder what percentage of asexuals are just scared of sex or in denial about their sexuality? I saw a video where a few of them said that they have been sexually aroused and masturbated in the past. I'm just confused by the whole thing.

I don't get pansexuality at all - it seems like a faddy label for people who want to be cool and different.

As an ace person, I have no sexual attraction to anyone but I could get horny to say the least. Your sex drive and your attraction are two completely different, totally unrelated things. Someone could be ace with a very high sex drive, hence they masturbate, or a low sex drive, hence they sit and watch TV.
Many things here:

1) Both acronyms are ridiculously long now.

2) "MOGAI" is implying that ALL sexualities (except heterosexuality) are marginalised, which is simply not true regardless of the **** that tumblr spouts on an hourly basis. In many, many, MANY countries, homosexual/bisexual people no longer feel unimportant or devalued. This is tumblr's typical 'acting like the victim' complex again.

3) Please tell me why there is a benefit to using an acronym as opposed to just saying ''minority sexualities [and/or gender identities]'' which is more accurate and is an umbrella term to cover EVERYTHING instead of needing some ridiculously long acronym that people can't keep up with.

4) RE: Person who asked queer vs gay. I DON'T UNDERSTAND IT EITHER. Some girl the other day described herself as queer and in a relationship with a girl, so I asked if she meant lesbian/bisexual and she said she meant 'queer'. It just seems like a fancy way of saying 'I'm undecided' realistically, but hey whatever you want.

5) RE: Pride. I don't see pride as an important thing anymore, I guess moreso in England than other countries. There's nothing wrong with people hosting it, but realistically homosexuality has been a much much much less important issue in this country than before and so Pride events can't really claim to be actually doing that much anymore.

6) Yes the instant you linked a tumblr blog your point became invalid as it's SJW haven.

1) MOGAI isn't that long, SAGA is shorter again

2)It is, just because it seems to be okay, it isn't. I'm bullied on a constant basis for not wanting to get with someone! In what universe is that not okay? Its a win/win. More people for you and yet again, I still don't care. We still get bullied, we still get opressed, we still get stupid comments thrown at us in the street. I act very, very gay with my friend even though we aren't dating it looks as if we are. We get shouts in the street like "Do you want to have a threesome" Is that right? Really?

3) Because its both more and less exclusive. Its a long story. I prefer SAGA for reasons see post 29

4) Queer is a reclaimed slur. If I can't be bothered with people, oh yeah, I'm queer btw. Queer is a way of not labeling a sexuality or gender so that the person using it understands who they are attracted to/ who they are and that the person they are telling it to knows they aren't cis or straight.

5) Pride is so important, it gives people the chance to socialise, find friends, find a support group. We fet to showcase who we are and people, if they want, can learn about the community. Also, they are so much fun!

6) Without tumblr, I don't think I'd be here today so don't underestimate the power.
Personally I think the members of these communities should just settle for ABH: Anything But Heterosexual.

Three letters. Very simple. Very pronounceable. Easy to understand. Allows for plenty of fluidity regarding identity.

It may as well be, but that is what you get when tumblr leaks into genpop.

No, they just human failures.

Since I can't post it, search for pomegranate trigger warning. It summarises everything wrong with tumblr.
