What's wrong is all the sheep keep buying into the new "lifestyles" and gadgets dreamt up in some sterile/hipster marketing boardroom. It's the same for phones, the same for Facebook, the same for Twitter etc. - and funnily enough, all these things link up.

I always find myself admiring the people that admit to having the old style phones.

    Cheap plastic status symbols. Eurgh.

I've got one though. And do I use it for anything apart from making phone calls and sending the odd text? Nope. This is part of the reason I came to the above conclusion. For people to say they have their whole life on these things, well they really have bought into it hook line and sinker.
    Yep, exactly this.

You'll get used to it. I like it when I'm detached from my iPhone.

I wonder how, at times, some people really managed before we had phones.

I went away to France last year and took my phone with me; but didn't really use it. No FB because it was just going to be expensive. Bliss!
