Eh, I'd like to think they were read. Certainly I'm still considering proposing an amendment which would ban RL likenesses to encourage voters to read manifestos rather than voting based on IRL preferences, but I don't think this would be popular, as it would require Labour, the Conservatives, UKIP and the Greens to change their party names.
Greens would support and maybe UKIP. Labour and cons would block it as I put out the feelers before.

I will also point out that the longer manifestos are optional.

If this doesn't pass the house I will be proposing a removal of the word limit.
I wouldn't support this either - make them too long, and those who do read the 450 word ones, just won't bother, and so all you're doing is worsening the problem rather than making it better.

He quoted me in another thread - the authors of this amendment should feel flattered that their work has been quoted in other subforums.

i did that a week ago.. i asked some of your team members today but no one replied..i posted somewhere about it aand still had no answer
Request bans aren't handled by the Support Team, they're done by the Community Team like QC and Pickles. Please make sure you've asked them in the appropriate sub-forum if you really want one. Either way, it's extremely easy to log out.

I'll second you, it's something I've mentioned multiple times before.

Why? 450 words is plenty to express our policies and if not, we're able to join the debate, so it's a no from me.

Slightly off topic, but reading the amendment alerted my attention to something. If any manifesto is submitted as an image at the next election, can I request that Mr Speaker RayApparently considers all pictures on that manifesto as separate images just as he does with words. The last thing we want is a UKIP manifesto with 12 pictures of Nigel Farage.

Banning, I also can't understand why our photo can't have words in it, to bypass the rule?

This is a House that debates primarily through the written word and efforts of its own members, and so this has my support as it to me reinforces this.
