But all the descriptions and the way he writes his posts seem like it's from a novel.
    It's my blog.

But all the descriptions and the way he writes his posts seem like it's from a novel:

We had a ritual, my father and I: attending the same barber whom we had visited since I was a boy. Luigi Salandi, a expat Sicilian who was raised in the suburbs of Palmero, who had emigrated to Glasgow after he served his tour in the Italian Army.

Does that not sound like something from a book?
Perhaps it does my friend. But that is, and this is, excerpts from my life. I am not plagiarizing work, this is all entirely my own. Google it if your concerned, but you will quite clearly see, I am not copying anyone's writing.

Yeah I know it's original, but the fact that you know so much about your barber's background just seemed so unrealistic to me, and the elaborate descriptions and everything just make it seem...

Well, given that he came to my baptism, that I have been visiting him for over 18 years, yeah, you tend to build up a bit of a rapport.

    Now, are you done nit-picking?

    There's a great saying:

"If you have nothing nice to say then say nothing at all."

It's just a stylised way of writing to make it more exciting and interesting, would be a bit dull if it was just 'i went here etc etc'. Besides Sam is a really well spoken eloquent person, it is just how he writes

Have we solved this quoting situation yet?

Sorry, was in case maybe you wanted to read the blog, thats all.

    Profuse apologies for the presumptiveness

Also been experiencing some teething problems with successfully tagging people en masse, so again, apologies.

Will take you off the list, with my thanks for your patience with me thus far

No need to apologise, I was just surprised to be added to the list given that we've only ever spoken once, very briefly, about card games.

Good luck with your blog though - I do hope you find benefit in the writing of it

To be honest, the list was prepared for me by someone else, and I merely copied it again, en masse and in bulk

The list has now been amended, not to worry.
