One of my biggest fears is losing my mother; I love my mum and dad both unconditionally but I just have this special bond with my mum that I don't have with anyone else in this world. I am sorry to hear about your loss but I hope you remain strong and that you have people there to support you through this difficult time

Today is the first Mother's Day since my mum passed away, a week after Christmas. It's going to be horrendous and I've already sobbed my heart out and its not even 11 o'clock. Anyway, I hope everyone has a lovely day and cherishes their mum, because they can be taken so suddenly from you. And I'm sending big love and hugs to anyone spending today without their mum <3
Aww I hope you're ok
Thanks for the good wishes and please do try to stay strong -

As others have said, cherish those memories - they can never be taken from you.

I honestly wish you all the love and support you need. My best friend lost her mum at the start of the year, so I partially understand what you are going through, as I have had to support my friend through these past months. She talks a lot about her mum, about the happy times they had together, and I hope that you can take today to think about the wonderful times you had with your mum.
After what has happened to my friend, I really do appreciate all that I do have, and I remember how lucky I am. We should all do this on a regular basis.
All the best

</3 I'm so sorry for your loss
that is a really hard thing to go through. If you wanna vent my inbox is open, maybe if you write a letter to your mum on this day it would make you feel better? and get her flowers? and like... visit her?

To all those lucky people who still have their mums appreciate them while you have them. No one else will love you like she does.
There's an old Irish song about how the time will come when you'd willingly rip off your right arm if you could only see her once again ....only too true...too true. -

So sorry and my heartfelt feelings for your loss, there is nothing like the loss of your Mother I lost my wonderful Mother in January, and since then it's as if a great chasm has opened up. It also sets off a flood of emotions when events like Mother's day and birthday's come along, they say time is a great healer, I think you just learn to cope and sometimes it helps to think of all the wonderful moments you had through life with her. oh Lord, it really makes you think about the people/things you have in life. I know it's late, but I hope you had a great day and instead of spending it with your mum, and spent it with female relatives such as your Grandmother/ aunts/cousins. I know it's meant to be Mother's day, but sometimes, even other female family could help

Thank you soooo much <3 really, every single one of you, thank you and my condolences to those in the same boat as myself. Life has SO many more wonderful moments to look forward to, chins up and on we push
I am sure your beloved Mum would want you to have a fantastic future with love, happiness and laughter. I believe that when people we love pass away we still hold them in our hearts forever.

Hi. That's a positive attitude to take. I have only just seen your original post today. I'm sorry for your loss. You have probably been told that it gets easier or less difficult and it does. I lost my Dad in 2007 and my Mum in 2011. I was closer to my Mum and although it has become easier for me, every now and then when something good happens or I have an idea, I think 'oh gotta tell Mum that'!
I am sure your beloved Mum would want you to have a fantastic future with love, happiness and laughter. I believe that when people we love pass away we still hold them in our hearts forever.
Take care x
