I actually like learning about differences in countries as well tbh. I was going to ask, how is the french system for pharmacy and mediicne (there were some french erasmus students who spent time during my 3rd year in my class but they have PharmD instead of BPharm/MPharm)
Did you read my blog ? I explain everything there
We have to pass a "concours" and the students who are aspiring for med/Pharma/dentistery/physio/midwifery are together !
And places are very very limited, 331 for med , 115 for pharma .. Over 2500 students ! It's really long to explain but on my blog it's detailed :yep:

my bad . didnt read your blog in full ( a lot of posts so was unable to locate it fully).

at least they restrict numbers in france, which is a good thing. in the UK, pharmacy is unrestricted and currently there is 3 pharmacists per pharmacy if you look at numbers. if the government gets its way, then 1 in 4 pharmacies in the UK will lose funding in October and that figure would mean that around 5 pharmacists would be available per pharmacy, yet in reality it means that 4 in 5 pharmacists would have limited / no employment.
