Hopefully this means we can draw a line under this dreadful era of awful governance and get a government that doesn't require the opposition to do half their job for them.
Would you be slightly salty if Labour get a majority?

It's not going to happen and will lead to a large by election after 2 months, the same could be asked of you with the Tories, the thing is, if Labour are in power I will still be doing most of the major costing, i.e. what I do in this place when not debating; you on the other hand won't have your main role if we win a majority, or even just get into office.

In one weeks time a poll will go up with manifestos from each party (and any independents) and users will be able to vote. The 50 seats in the House are then allocated by the D'hondt method (a form of proportional representation). The history of TSR elections can be found here including links to all previous general elections and by-elections.

I normally welcome people with 'hello, how are you?', but each to their own I guess.

 Got an image in my head of the right honourable gentleman going up to people in the street and telling them they can't vote.

But on a serious note: he can't vote.

I probably shouldn't have ordered all that stationary with '22nd Parliament of the United Kingdom' printed on it.

The parties are the Socialists, the Greens, Labour, the Liberals, Conservatives, and UKIP; you can join one of the party by requestion to join the party's user-group.

    Très drôle.

Of course, in the TSR GE I imagine very few 60 year olds vote... [insert joke about certain members of the House pushing 60]
