I'm a female, but if you were getting married to the man you love and he loves you back, you 2 should tell everything to eachother, no one else really has to know apart from ur husband and if you told him u wasnt, he shouldnt look at u differently. If he does, he dosent deserve you! Everyone makes mistakes.

If I genuinely love them, and they love me back, I truly believe that love can overrule everything. Islam is based on love. If they have repented for their sin, and therefore Allah (SWT) will inshallah forgive them, then why can't I forgive (even though it's not really about forgiving on my part), and put their past in the past and focus on the future. I would like to think that someone would do that for me (even though I'm a virgin myself, but if I weren't I'd like to think that if I truly repented, that my future spouse would accept it and love me for the person that I am and forgive my mistakes).

Some people make mistakes, and they may be big. But that shouldn't mean that their life is over/they won't be forgiven/they won't get married (in this case). I hope we can all be as forgiving as Allah (SWT) is.

So to answer the question, yes I would marry someone who isn't a virgin, on the basis that it was a mistake and that they've repented from it.

lol the vaginal wall is a muscle it's not that every time you have sex it's just ever expanding passageway. It will stretch significantly from a virgin vagina, but after that it doesn't increase every time you have sex and tightens if you do muscle exercises etc.

You don't need to write insha'Allah after "Allah will" (I remember mufti menk said that it was wrong)

Wondering. I'm a Muslim myself, but not a virgin, unfortunately. Long story I don't want to get into. Well, would you have a problem? Please state your gender too. I'm a female.
why do you need to get married? haha isn't marriage a bit archaic in today's standards?

I cannot even put into words how sickening some of the responses this question has received. In all seriousness, you actually wonder why people are racist?!?! This is supposed to be a developed country with ethical morals, yet you preach morals from the dark ages. I'm a white 21 year old male, and the amount of sexual partners a girl has had is not even an issue to me. For heavens sake, pornstars have husbands and wives and can have a happy family life behind closed doors. Islam is one backward religion. Shame on anyone who puts down a women for not being a virgin. (it's all a bit peodoy in all honesty).

you guys are totally misunderstanding the point, did you even realise she said muslims in the title. In Islam you are supposed to stay virgin til marriage and refrain from extra marital affairs. I don't think you even realise how hard this can be for MANY people to restrict yourself sexually in this way and actually wait for their husband or wife. Why after years of actually sticking to the rules of your deen would you go and marry someone who couldn't do the same whilst you put yourself through hardship.

And don't start on the "Well you wouldn't have to put yourself through that if you didn't follow Islam", since that is not the point.

virginity or both guys and girls are being equally discussed here have you even read the thread, in fact most of the answers are from females.

LOL as if virgins getting married = divorce and unhappy children. In fact, virgins will probably have stronger sexual attachment to each other than more promiscuous people who have been with many other would have so your argument is invalid.

No one said non virgins don't have the right to be loved - what kind of stupid idea is that? Where did you fathom that from?
