I want a MAN, not a boy or a pushover. A man doesn't have to be violent as long as he's confident, knows what he wants, treats me well, isn't clingy and is good looking, I'm happy.

Girls like confidence a lot. They also like guys who are in shape - it shows they care about their own future and frankly it's just sexy.

They like guys who can protect them and demonstrably show that they want to protect them (PDA ftw). It's primal stuff. Most girls wouldn't like to see their guy beating up someone else (especially if that guy was a stranger to them) but they sure as else would like to be able to believe their guy could if he needed to.
