    I would consider bringing this up with the school governors. Now, with the newly formed Academies, they have enhanced status and rule with an iron fist.

    That sounds fair. Maybe OP should be allowed the second punch and the headteacher can use his/her briefcase to whack him

    Good idea. In fact, I'll travel up there. ITV and the international media are getting ready to dispatch. I'll whack them with some expensive camera equipment.

    Brilliant. I'll record it and put it on Vine or something. We need to show the teachers that this behaviour is unacceptable!
