Gustarse is not a reflexive verb, it needs to be conjugated as if gustar means 'to make happy' so 'me gusta' rather than 'me gusto', as in this 'makes me happy' and 'le gusta', it makes him/her happy

Philosophy - none of it is 'fact'
Sociology - once again, disputed over whether any of it is 'fact'
German... okay I'll have to do that ummmm

In German the word Nacktschneke means slug and literally translates as 'naked snail'

Or if you want a proper nerd fact then um in German the 'gerund' (verb used as noun e.g. taming of the shrew) doesn't kinda.. actually exist and you need to find alternative ways of expressing it - either via infinitive clause, as an "actual" noun or sometimes it's actually passive (e.g. loading is "being loaded" and thus passive).

Apparently (not 100% sure if it's true), Ernest Hemingway (novelist) had a bet with his friends for $10 that he could write an entire story using only six words: for sale: baby shoes, never worn.

Some invertebrates, such as the bed bug, engage in traumatic insemination which involves the male using his penis to pierce the female's abdomen where he will inject his semen into the wound.

Humans are lucky tbh. Other females have to put up with a lot more crap.

Some species of hermaphroditic flatworms engage in penis fencing during mating, with the winner fertilising the other one.
Learnt about that in a module called Sexual Conflict at University.

Carcinoma of the head of the pancreas presents with painless obstructive jaundice. It advances quickly but presents late and is difficult to surgically remove so the prognosis is often very poor.

    Definition of diffusion:

Diffusion is the movement of molecules from a region of high concentration to a region of low concentration, moving down a concentration gradient. This is passive as it requires no energy.

Everyone thinks that Hadrian's wall marks the end of Roman Britain but there was actually a second coast-to-coast wall built in AD 142 called the Antonine wall further up in Scotland. The Romans abandoned the wall in the 160s and re-established the frontier at Hadrian's wall. Oh and Hadrian's wall wasn't actually built just to keep the Scottish out.

If you 'drown' in freshwater, you're not really drowning - the hypotonic water enters your pulmonary capillaries and enters red blood cells by osmosis, causing them to split and release potassium and sodium ions. These raise the blood levels of the ions, causing hyperkalaemic cardiac arrhythmia, so you die of heart attack basically - drowning means dying from the asphyxiation, i.e., lack of oxygen.

If you drown in saltwater, you are legit drowning.
Apart from electrolyte imbalances which cause arrhythmia don't cause heart attacks, the arrhythmia can be severe enough to cause loss of cardiac output ie. a cardiac arrest. A heart attack (aka myocardial infarction) and a cardiac arrest are two different things, a heart attack can lead to a cardiac arrest, but the mechanisms leading to arrest are very different to what you've described here.

99% of the human genome is junk, which is the scientific term for non-coding. 75% of the genome has no established purpose either. There is no divine design. It's a bit of a mess, and not very efficient.

On the other hand: The genetic code is non-random and the natural code that evolved is literally one in a million. If you employ weightings to allow for biases in translation, then only 1 in every million random alternative codes generated is more efficient than the natural code.

The genetic code is one in a million

The paradox here baffles me. Are we designed well or not?!
