    Whoa there, you don't have to enjoy Prince's music but by musical standards Beiber doesn't even belong in the same universe as him.

    The people in this thread who are saying Prince is crap have probably never listened to him and have only heard that he could be a bit of a jerk. No one with ears could say that Prince was not incredibly talented.

    I'd say this is nailed on. When the albums are difficult to get unless you buy hard copies and the body of work is so vast, some will be put off & intimidated. A lot of people just seem to disregard albums these days.

    You may not like Prince but at least credit him for writing all this songs and playing all the instruments on them. He was an artist in the purest form, he could perfectly exist without his label.
