Try a simple integral for me

dxx(1x7) \displaystyle \int \frac{dx}{x(1-x^7)} .

Hence evaluate exactly the integral

1/2π/41x(1x7)dx \displaystyle \int_{1/2}^{\pi/4} \frac{1}{x(1-x^7)} dx .

Whilst you're not being offensive, I do question the use of posting horribly formatted STEP questions that you've stolen from papers on here and order people to do them for you... mind clarifying your motive?
