My mum hasn't been home all day and she wasn't home yesterday and therefore I haven't eaten her food and that makes me sad because I only like my mums cooking, everything else tastes crap (especially my cooking).

My mum just bought me food, and that act nearly moved me to tears...

My mum is not always at home these days, due to political party meetings and other stuff like that. Today after coming home, she bought me food. I nearly cried....

Although in my mind I was thinking:

I realised that we don't appreciate the little things our parents do/did for us, whether it was when we were younger or now! Please appreciate your mum or dad + AMA about why I was crying.....

Whilst its nice you bond with her I think its a bit unusual that her buying a takeaway is extraordinary enough to invoke crying.
