Ruth Davidson is brilliant, the opposite of a toxic Tory and someone who I could imagine getting swing voters.

Should get her more involved in the English party.
Judging from what I've seen of her I'd take her as PM over Cameron, Osborne & Boris. She'd certainly get my vote.

l can only see this result making the SNP more dangerous now, if Sturgeon pushes another independence vote through the Greens will jump on it. very pro-indy party. with only around half of Scotland turning out to vote this time SNP gained a record number of votes, excluding the SNP supporters who gave their second vote to smaller parties.

    INTERESTING TIMES AHEAD.

The SNP are 2 short of a majority so explicitly they can be outvoted (though the Greens can carry them over).[/QUOTE]

They would indeed. Looks like it isn't all over at all. Davidson's life will be short lived, can't see Scotland ever allowing a tory to become FM.
Not sure why that would mean her life is short lived. The Tories are not going to replace somebody who gained 10% of the vote.

The SNP won't hold another referendum though this term.

Half of Scotland who didn't bother to go out and vote woke up to a TORY challenge, can't see them allowing that to happen next time.
Ruth has no power even although she is acting as if she does. She is still WESTMINISTER'S puppet.....

as for no indy vote this term, l'm not sure about that as the Greens would definitely push it through but there is still the question of the EU.

    EXCITING TIMES... LOVING IT..

Glad to see Lib dems starting to make a recovery in the south.
Need them to do well as they take seats in the south that labour just doesn't have a base in.

If Corbyn goes and labour gets someone on the soft left/ moderate wing of the party id like them to organise an electoral pact with the lib dems like they did in 97 to help keep the Tories out.
