I was also AQA. When I say creative writing, I mean writing stories.
I love my English so maybe I am being a bit defensive but I can understand how it could be boring

My advisor has been trying to get me to go for Gov&Pol, History and Philosophy, though I've had people tell me that my chosen uni will think the latter is too 'wishy-washy'.
I did English Lang Lit (mixed course) Classical Civilisation and Philosophy & Ethics. Everyone said they were crap subjects - I got offers for Law from UCL, Warwick, Southampton, Nottingham and another that I've forgotten but I only applied to top unis and I got offers from them all.
[e] You'll see on that list that Psychology, Sociology and English Language are all 'limited suitability' and I think that's a pretty accurate description, they are generally viewed as soft subjects - best to only do one of them or even better, as just a fourth AS.Last edited by infairverona; 09-05-2016 at 21:17.
