How about a regulated capitalist economy coupled with a welfare and health care system that meets the basic needs of those who do not thrive in the capitalist economy. That is Sanders position.

The fact that such a poor country like Cuba with all its problems still manages to have excellent healthcare outcomes now only in it's own country but around the world but's such a resource rich democratic country like America to shame. Americans should be embarrassed.
Ding ding ding we have a winner, fell for the corporatist garbage with 'regulated capitalis[m]'.
That is exactly what took America to be a corporatist nation. Don't make the mistake of calling America Capitalist. It is not. It is a mess I agree, but that is why.

All Bernie would do is disincentivise business and individuals, whilst failing to solve anything, and as usual with the left; fails to explain how any of this is paid for. Socialism is a plague, esp attempting to impose it on America in it's current state, and it would be futile anyway.

Not that it matters, thankfully he won't get in.
Only a shame they have to pick Trump or Clinton. At least Trump has some relatively sound policies underneath all the crazy.

... As opposed to "shill democracy" offered by the other candidate
I would have gone for 'soshill democracy' myself but that works too.

Exams in 9 days and I've found a new area to procrastinate in!!!

But scrolling through articles, nobody seems to want either Hilary Clinton Or Donald Trump and around 60% of people are voting for a candidate because they don't want the other to win. Wouldn't it be sensible to have Sanders as the nominee as he seems to be a more favourable option but can't be since he isn't part of the establishment and can't access those super delegates?
Because the following sets of people know that as awful as Trump and Clinton are, Bernie is even worse:

People with a basic understanding of economics
    People who aren't students/unemployed
    People who aren't Reddit/Tumblr SJWs

It's like saying "well, I don't like Labour, Conservatives, UKIP or Lib Dems. So I'll vote Green Party even though their policies are completely insane and Natalie Bennett doesn't know her arse from her elbow, or what planet she's on."

    So...........that's why.

Perhaps because they see Bernie as even worse....

I mean, a lot on the hard right mag vote for Trump because he's better than Clinton, but she in turn is better than Sanders

So do you think Dean Baker, James Galbraith and Jeffrey Sachs (all Bernie supporters), just to name a few, all don't understand economics?
