My boyfriend has stopped putting in effort?

This sounds eerily similar to a relationship my best mate's in, except from the girl's perspective rather than the guy's :lolwut:

Anyway I've advised him to end his relationship multiple times so I will give the same advice to you and tell you to break it off because it sounds doomed.

you're giving him all this but you're not getting anything back, you really should turn back no and stop the relationship while you still can before you may possibly get hurt more in the future if you do break up

Thank you. I'll take this advice into consideration. I just have the tendency to regret things such as breakups as soon as it happens as id hate to upset him
