The day before the exam for me follows this:
1) Go over all past papers done. Last learning mark schemes stuff
2) Read the textbook, in detail
3) Chill and calm my nerves
4) Go over any particular weak areas
5) Read over notes before I sleep

Doing A levels not GCSE's but i have a method that helps me calm my nerves before exams, it sounds a little weird but it works for me so could be worth a shot? :x.
Basically, 30 minutes before the exam i get a piece of paper and write down all my worries about the exam, every little thing im worried may go wrong in the exam or other things im worried about (how failing the paper may screw up my future ect.), then when i'm done i rip up the piece of paper and throw it away, so i've acknowledged what i'm scared about but have had the strength to "throw them away", and for me, it just helps me focus on the exam instead of my worries when i actually enter the exam room.

I am targeting an A, but sometimes if the question is in a different form I don't know what to do. What about you ?
