    Unlikely unless the grade boundries are insanely down...
    You can't resit the exam if that's what you mean...

    I wanted to apply for Cambridge for engineering but If I get a D I don't think I could, it's just that I had never seen that form of SHM, didn't get the last bits of question 4, messed up question 2 cause it was dead wordy, I got bloody A in a mock!, even the order of the topics in the questions was different,

    That form is SHM??? It's a very common question...
    You can get a D in one topic and still get an A* overall you know?
